The exe file is located in C:/Program Files/Common Files/Microsoft Shared/ink. I have to kill this process every time I startup windows. I didn't have this process running before I installed the IdeaCom update. I still notice that I have this process called InputPersonalization.exe running in the backround when I start Windows. I have already deleted the Tablet PC shortcuts from my start menu, disabled the shell extensions using Shell Ex View and I disabled the Tablet PC Input Service. Now I still notice that I have remnants of the tablet PC software on my system. I was able to remove the faulty driver from my system and got my mouse functionality back on the PS/2 port. I looked online and many people who installed this update also had the same problem.

Luckily my mouse was also a USB so I was able to still use it. Anyway after it installed I rebooted and to my horror I lost functionality of my PS/2 mouse. Big Mistake! I should have googled it first. I installed it thinking it was a driver for my monitor. Input - IdeaCom HID Touch Screen (PS/2) update. I had a run in with the IdeaCom Technology Inc.
